- Serve as the Responsible Electrical Engineer developing nuclear plant modification packages.
- Perform electrical calculations in support of the modification package development
- Provide field installation support to the client’s implementation team.
- Plans and manage electrical work activities to ensure successful task execution while maintaining safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Monitors day-to-day activities and consistently demonstrate the ability to proactively identify potential discipline problems or opportunities.
- Clearly understands the electrical scope of work and requirements.
Ten (10) years of related electrical design experience with nuclear plant engineering and design.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a Citizen of the U.S. and able to obtain unescorted access to a U.S. nuclear power plant.
- Current or recent design qualifications to the Standard Design Procedure at a commercial nuclear power plant.
- The ability to prepare documents and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Requirements:
- Demonstrated knowledge of switchyard design, protective relaying, transformers, circuit breakers and switches.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IEEE, ISA, and NEMA standards.
- Takes ownership of engineering work performed on a project.
- Experience working with others in a Project Team environment.
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work in a multi-tasked environment.
- Field experience, and ability to perform site walk-downs.
