Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed HVAC and plumbing system designs for new commercial construction and renovation projects, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations
- Oversee project timelines, budget, and resource allocation. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project objectives are met
- Prepare and maintain accurate design documentation, project reports, and compliance records
- Ensure that all systems and components meet quality standards and performance requirements
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage projects by overseeing timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, and collaborating with architects, contractors, and other engineers to achieve project goals
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing systems design. More experience a plus
- Proficiency in Revit software
- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and compliance requirements
