Electrical Engineer – Project Manager
We’re seeking an Electrical Engineer/Project Manager to take ownership of electrical building systems while leading projects from concept through construction. This role blends electrical engineering with project leadership, offering both technical depth and decision-making authority.

What You’ll Do
- Design and engineer electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
- Develop construction documents and technical specifications
- Apply electrical codes, standards, and best practices to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant designs
- Perform site visits, field investigations, and construction support as needed
- Manage electrical scope, schedules, and budgets across multiple projects
- Serve as the electrical point-of-contact for clients, architects, and internal teams
- Coordinate closely with mechanical, structural, and civil engineers to resolve conflicts and drive integrated solutions
- Participate in project planning, fee development, and scope definition
- Anticipate risks and proactively solve technical or coordination challenges
- Mentor and support junior engineers and designers
- Review work for quality, accuracy, and constructability
- Help establish efficient workflows and technical standards

What We’re Looking For
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure
- 7 years of experience in electrical building systems design
- Background in consulting engineering or A/E environments
- Strong working knowledge of NEC, power distribution, and lighting systems
- Experience managing projects or acting as a technical project lead
- Proficiency in Revit
- Clear communicator who is comfortable leading meetings and client discussions
- Highly organized, solutions-driven, and collaborative
