Ensures trucks meets safety, quality and regulatory standards at various stages of the production process. Checks for obvious defects. Follows the established inspection report, noting any defects, omissions of parts, color of paint, stickers required and overall quality of the trucks.

Position
Ensures trucks meets safety, quality and regulatory standards at various stages of the production process. Checks for obvious defects. Follows the established inspection report, noting any defects, omissions of parts, color of paint, stickers required and overall quality of the trucks.
Responsibilities
- Performs Quality Assurance within the Quality Control portion of Monroe Truck Assembly
- Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
- Assures compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable federal, state and local codes, OSHA regulations and requirements
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret build sheets. Reading and writing inspection reports. Knowledge of quality welds, structural integrity and professional industrial painting. Must be knowledgeable of all of the different company products and accessories.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed.
- Dexterity and flexibility to check units from top to bottom. Standing and walking for most the workday.
