The Plant Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the plant, with direct reports including inside sales, office manager(s), materials leader(s), and service leader(s).

The Plant Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the plant, with direct reports including inside sales, office manager(s), materials leader(s), and service leader(s).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for Profit and Loss (P&L) duties for the plant, including monitoring net income after expenses influencing how company resources are allocated.
- Plans, develops, and implements organization policies and goals.
- Coordinates activities of plants such as operating, planning, sales, maintenance, to effect operational efficiency and economy.
- Establishes product inventory and monitors for appropriate turns and inventory.
- Supports Sales in promotion of products or services performed to develop new markets, increase share of market, and obtain competitive position in industry.
- Confers with staff and reviews activity, operating, and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations required.
- Prepares daily, weekly, or monthly reports for top management to communicate, summarize, and analyze plant performance or changes to be implemented.
- Promotes organization in industry and market area.
- Manage the processes that ensure timely delivery of quality products and services.
- Hire, train, evaluate, assign, or discharge staff or resolve personnel grievances.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Minimum of 10 years in a manufacturing or operations leadership role.
- Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment related to trucks, truck equipment components, or mobile equipment.
- Minimum 5 years of Profit and Loss experience including budget and managing monthly expenditures.
- Experience training and developing leaders.
- Experience with sales and/or customer relationship experience.
