Responsibilities
- Provides inputs for quotes
- Creates BOMs for all job/sales orders
- Update BOMs from customer change orders, engineering change orders and inputs from sales engineers
- Supports all other team activities to ensure accurate and timely job/sales order information
- Provide support to the Outside Sales Team as well as internal company departments to make the overall sales process as smooth as possible.
- Meet with Outside Sales to Review Bids/Quotes to make sure if fulfills bid requirements
- Process orders with precise information required to Build a Final Product
- Keeps outside sales representatives informed about problems to keep account activities and literature up to date.
- Forwards special manufacturing requests to the Department Manager and/or the Engineering Department
- Read, analyze, and interpret technical documents/regulations
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the public
- Calculate figures and amounts (discounts, interest, proportions, percentages)
- Experience with Order processing, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Database software
