CNC Programmer

We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting technical blueprints, programming and adjusting machine settings, and ensuring efficient material usage throughout the production process. You will play a key role in maintaining product quality, optimizing manufacturing efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement on the shop floor.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models
- Input product designs into computer modeling software
- Create, simulate, and debug CNC programs for cutting and forming operations
- Troubleshoot production issues, resolve problems, and adjust processes as needed
- Train new staff on machine operation and standard procedures
- Plan and update material requirements within ERP systems
- Optimize sheet utilization to maximize yield and minimize waste
- Track sheet metal usage and manage material remnants
- Other Duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Coursework or background in computer science, algebra, geometry, or related fields preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints accurately
- Experience with computer modeling or CAD/CAM software
- Strong mathematical skills, including applying equations and measurements
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed
