Position

The Accounts Payable Clerk processes invoices, reconciles vendor accounts, and assists with payment runs while maintaining accurate records and responding to vendor inquiries. This position also supports month-end closing, audits, and general accounts payable operations while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Accurate data entry of invoices into ERP system, including matching to purchase orders and general ledger account coding.
• Scan and index of invoices into document management system.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor inquiries.
• Work closely with purchasing department and key department heads to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Assist with preparation and processing of scheduled payment runs (checks, ACH, credit card, etc).
• Maintain Accounts Payable check stock in secured location.
• Assist department with filing and scanning as needed.
• Ensure compliance to company policies, accounting procedures and established controls.
• Adhere to month end closing guidelines.
• Support audits by providing requested documentation
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• 1 year related experience required
