In this role, you’ll take ownership of projects that support treatment plants, water supply systems, storage, pumping, and transmission infrastructure—from concept through construction.

Responsibilities
- Serve as Project Manager for drinking water and water infrastructure projects, guiding work through the full project lifecycle
- Lead water/wastewater project delivery including planning, design, and construction administration
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality (QA/QC) across projects
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with municipalities and agencies
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities and business development efforts
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and project teams
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive project success
- Ensure projects deliver high-quality, practical, and constructible solutions
- Strong client relationships that lead to repeat work and new opportunities
- Projects delivered on time, on budget, and with technical excellence
- A growing presence in the Lehi/Utah water & wastewater market
- A collaborative, high-performing team aligned around project success
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, chemical or environmental engineering or related field
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in Utah or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with water treatment design and project delivery
- Proven ability to manage projects, clients, and teams simultaneously
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to clients
- Experience or interest in business development and client growth
- All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations
- 15 years consulting experience for municipal water/wastewater systems
- Proven client relationships
- Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
- Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight
- May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
- May be required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to, flame resistant clothing, hard hat, and protective footwear
- May require occasional evenings and weekends with overtime expectations varying with workload
- May be required to travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town
