Certified Surgical Technologist
Location: Watertown, NY 13601
Contract Details:
- Contract: 13 Weeks – Possible Extension
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Hours: 40 Hours/Week
- Candidate Type: Travelers Only
- Distance Requirement: Candidates must live 100 miles from the facility
Travel Pay Package:
- W2 Hourly Rate: $26/hour
- Weekly Gross Pay: $2,286
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience within specialty
- Orthopaedic (Ortho) experience required
- CST Certification required
- BLS Certification required
Key Responsibilities:
- Work under the direct supervision of an RN and assist with the preparation and care of surgical patients.
- Perform routine and delegated duties according to hospital and department standards and policies.
- Function as a scrub person and provide precise and efficient support during surgical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment.
- Ensure surgical equipment and instruments are functioning properly and safely.
- Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures.
- Perform departmental duties as assigned.
- May be required to precept and train new staff.
- Must be able to respond to call-ins and arrive within 30 minutes when called in
Pay: $2,260.00 - $2,290.00 per week
