Role
The Account Coordinator Lead guides the Account Coordinator team while maintaining hands-on involvement in complex sales support activities. This dual-role position combines people management responsibilities with advance account coordination duties, requiring both leadership skills and deep expertise in sale operations. This role must develop and manage the AC team, ensure operational excellence, and serve as the primary liaison between Sales, Leadership, and all other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Management

- Employee Experience: Support the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, development, retention, and exit touch points for team members. Help to establish goals, expectations, and metrics for evaluation, coach and build relationships while identifying learning opportunities to support skill development
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Account Coordination Operations
- Prepare accurate quotes with proper pricing and configurations as well as compliance with MSA and vendor terms.
- Keep team updated on distributor, vendor, and system updates
- Implement procedural changes and embrace change; status quo can be a strength and a weakness, a leaders needs to embrace change that drives operational excellence and client satisfaction
- Maintain comprehensive quote documentation with advance pricing strategies and detailed product configurations as well as all other standard operating procedures for team processes
- Lead team communication initiatives and process updates
- Prepare AC reports, complete leadership-requested projects, and submit monthly/quarterly contract pricing reports
- Manage Business Central operations including order review, entry, and coordination with accounting on invoicing/shipping issues and lead CRM initiatives and forecasting activities
- Assist Sales team with complex contracts, RFP documents, and CRM/forecasting initiatives and partner to exceed customer service expectations both internally and externally, serving as an escalation point for complex issues
- Maintain proactive communication regarding scheduling and availability with AC team and Account Executives
- Maintain comprehensive quote documentation and strategic relationships with manufacturer/distributor partners
- Prepare and submit complex vendor orders while ensuring revenue integrity and identifying recurring opportunities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field preferred
- Seven or more years of progressive experience in sales support, account management, or related field with minimum of two to three years of team leadership or supervisory experience
- Proven track record in managing complex sales processes, vendor relationships, and team performance management
- Advanced proficiency with quoting software, Business Central ERP system, CRM systems, and HRIS
- Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting, with experience in contract management and pricing analysis
- Demonstrated ability to train, develop, coach, and maintain team morale while managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines
- Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams, adaptability to changing business requirements, and professional maturity to handle confidential information
- Strategic thinking with ability to develop long-term plans and translate them into actionable initiatives
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to engage all stakeholders
