Roof Technician - Repairs & Tarping

At Advosy, our field technicians play an important role in protecting homes and keeping projects moving. We’re looking for someone with hands-on roofing experience who knows how to tarp a roof, handle minor shingle repairs, and document work with clear photos and videos.

This isn’t a traditional tear-off or re-roof job working with a crew. You’ll spend your time in the field handling assigned jobs independently, with support from our project managers and field leadership. • Roof Tarping: Install roof tarps as directed to help protect properties from further damage.

• Minor Roof Repairs: Complete basic roofing repairs, particularly on shingle roofs.

• Photo & Video Documentation: Capture clear photos and videos of roof conditions, completed repairs, and job progress.

• Repair Videos: Record repair videos according to company guidelines and instructions from field leadership.

• ITEL Reports: Assist with completing ITEL reports as directed.

• Job Site Support: Help coordinate on-site activities and provide site supervision when assigned.

• Communication & Reporting: Keep field leadership informed of job progress, site conditions, and any issues that need attention.

• Professionalism & Safety: Follow safety procedures, protect customer property, and represent Advosy professionally at every job site.

• Previous hands-on roofing experience is required.

• Practical knowledge of shingle roofing and the ability to perform minor shingle repairs.

• Experience installing roof tarps.

• Familiarity with tile and foam roofing is a plus.

• Ability to take clear, accurate photos and videos using your own smartphone.

• Comfortable using mobile apps such as CompanyCam and WhatsApp, or willing to learn them.

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.

• Dependable, organized, and able to follow instructions while working independently.

• Comfortable working outdoors, on roofs, and in changing weather conditions.

• Pay: $22 per hour
