Overview
Advocatia’s Enrollment Specialist provides the opportunity for remote work while assisting our clients. This role is responsible for contacting and screening individuals for eligibility assistance. This includes providing information and reports to client contact(s) and keeping them current on our progress. To perform this job successfully, an Enrollment Specialist must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review the daily census to identify individuals in need of assistance
- Screen identified individuals for state, county, federal, and other assistance programs
- Initiate the application process
- Inform the applicant of all documentation they will need to complete their application as well as the address and phone number of their local office
- Introduce the individual to Advocatia services and inform them that we will be contacting them as well as the local department on their behalf on a regular basis
- Records all information and screening results
- Contact individuals by phone
- Keep accurate total for daily accounts referred, individuals screened, and applications taken
- Report any important occurrences to management as quickly as possible
- Maintain confidentiality of all account information at all times
- Maintain a neat and orderly workplace
- Maintain awareness of and participation in Corporate Compliance Program
- Maintain a positive working relationship with both Advocatia and client staff at all levels
- Maintain passion about assisting the uninsured and underinsured community
Required Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Dedicated workspace in the home
- Outstanding communication skills
- Strong work ethic and able to work independentl
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- 2 years in customer service experience
- Ability to learn technology
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Eligibility experience (government, provider, or payer)
- Strong attention to detail
- Healthcare or start up experience

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
