Job Overview
We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT) to step into a Director of Clinical Services role within a growing, community-based behavioral health program.
This is a leadership opportunity for a clinician who wants more than a traditional caseload — someone who wants to help shape how care is delivered, support a team of Certified Peer Counselors, and build a program focused on real outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning and operational management of all clinical mental health services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs
- Supervise and mentor clinical staff, including therapists, counselors, and support personnel, fostering a motivated and high-performing team
- Oversee the development of treatment protocols incorporating art therapy techniques, psychopharmacology practices, and gender issues counseling to provide holistic care
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, licensing requirements, and best practices in mental health service delivery
- Collaborate with external partners, community organizations, and healthcare providers to expand service access and promote integrated care models
- Monitor clinical outcomes through data analysis and quality improvement initiatives to continually enhance service effectiveness
- Facilitate ongoing staff training on emerging therapeutic modalities, cultural competence, and trauma-informed care approaches
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of mental health treatment modalities including art therapy, psychopharmacology, and gender issues counseling
- Proven leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary clinical teams within a mental health setting
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality assurance processes in healthcare environments
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients, staff, stakeholders, and community partners
