Our AmLaw 100 client is hiring a senior associate for a capital markets team with a real footprint in Dallas, New York City or Houston. Recognized high-yield practice, including convertible and other debt offerings, with nationally noted leadership.
Role Summary
• Public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities
• Exchange Act reporting and ongoing disclosure (periodic reports, proxies, governance support)
• Coordination with specialists across finance, tax, and restructuring as transactions require
Candidate Profile
• 5–6 years of capital markets experience at a peer firm
• Reps across offerings plus day-to-day ’34 Act reporting and governance work
• Strong drafting instincts and the ability to run point with bankers and in-house teams
• Bar admission in the state where you plan to sit (and in good standing)
The firm's platform is active in high-yield and broader securities work, with meaningful issuer and investor-side exposure
• Senior associate seat with room to lead, not just execute
• Dallas, Houston and New York City are true home bases for the practice, not satellites
