This is a strategic role designed for a seasoned attorney ready to take the lead on complex sanctions matters for high-profile clients in the technology and digital asset spaces.
The Role:
As Counsel, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to global companies navigating high-stakes regulatory risk, particularly involving:
Economic sanctions and export controls, with an emphasis on OFAC regulations.
Strategic counseling for tech companies, fintech platforms, and crypto entities facing novel compliance challenges.
Providing sanctions-related support for M&A, investments, and other cross-border transactions.
Leading client relationships and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams across corporate, litigation, and regulatory groups.
What We’re Looking For:
7 years of focused legal experience in sanctions, export controls, and international trade regulation.
A strong background advising on OFAC issues, ideally including blockchain, crypto, or fintech sector clients.
Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and leading advisory engagements.
Top-tier academic credentials and training from a highly respected law firm.
Admission to the DC Bar (or ability to waive in).
