New York - Opportunistic Commercial & Restructuring Litigation Associate (2–6 Years)
Litigate complex commercial and restructuring disputes in federal district court, bankruptcy court and state courts, including New York and Delaware.
Handle the full life cycle of litigation, from drafting and responding to complaints through discovery, motion practice, hearings, trials and appeals.
Work closely with top-tier financial restructuring and special situations teams on matters involving stressed and distressed companies, including cross-border and multi-stakeholder situations.
Represent both debtors and creditors, including official committees, ad hoc groups and institutional investors.
Take on substantial drafting responsibility and direct client contact early, with real ownership over briefs and strategy meetings.
2–6 years of commercial litigation experience in a sophisticated law firm setting, with meaningful exposure to restructuring or bankruptcy-related litigation.
Experience litigating in federal and state courts, ideally including work in New York and Delaware.
Comfort handling a busy docket: pleadings, complex motion practice, discovery management and drafting appellate briefs.
Strong writing and research skills, with a track record of turning around clean, persuasive work product under real time pressure.
Stellar academic credentials and training from a respected commercial litigation or restructuring group.
New York bar admission, or the ability to obtain it promptly.

Salary : $235,000 - $365,000
