This isn’t a behind-the-scenes role. You'll advise on real-world issues affecting how goods move across borders—from forced labor compliance to multimillion-dollar tariff disputes. Think international impact, but with your name behind the brief.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Navigating the rules behind what gets into the country and how, from tariff classification to origin rules.
  

• Advising Fortune 100 clients on everything from valuation to audits to compliance strategy.
  

• Working on customs enforcement matters, including antidumping/countervailing duties and trade litigation.
  

• Handling agency issues (think EPA, FWS, NHTSA) and driving policy conversations around customs regulation.
  

• Crafting arguments, drafting ruling requests, and showing up in spaces where policy meets practice.
  

You Should Apply If:

• You’ve got 2–3 years of legal experience in customs/import control law (government or private practice—we love both).

• You have a J.D. with strong academic credentials and are admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
