Associate – Finance: Restructuring & Special Situations | New York
Our AmLaw 100 client is building out its elite Restructuring & Special Situations team in New York and is looking for a sharp, business-minded associate ready to operate at the intersection of finance, strategy, and complex problem-solving.
This is not your standard bankruptcy role. The group handles everything from out-of-court restructurings to major Chapter 11 cases, all with a sophisticated, cross-border lens.
Who you are:
A 3rd or 4th year associate with at least 2 years of experience in financial restructuring
Comfortable working in the high-pressure, fast-moving environment of complex finance
Adept at managing multiple stakeholders and deal dynamics
Looking for mentorship, career acceleration, and a place to stretch intellectually
Why this team:
Market-leading reputation in both debtor and creditor-side mandates
Deep bench of former bankers, investment professionals, and restructuring veterans
Close collaboration with top-tier PE, M&A, and finance teams
Exposure to international deals and direct client interaction from day one
