Description:
As a Front Desk, you will be responsible for the customer experience. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping people. This position will be split between our Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch locations, and regular travel between the two centers is required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and collecting copays and patient payments.
- Documenting patient information using our EMR system.
- Communicating with patients via phone, email, and in-person regarding their visit with our doctor and any issues that need to be addressed first before making any decisions about their condition or treatment options.
- Reviewing patient histories, charts, and discussing concerns with patients and directing inquiries to the appropriate channel.
- Collecting copays and other payments from patients during their visit with our doctor.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong phone skills and customer service experience.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized with a high degree of accuracy.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA laws required.
