Position Highlights:

• Sign-on Bonus: This job qualifies for a $7,500 sign–on bonus, provided the candidate meets eligibility requirements.

• Shift Schedule: Full time, 3x12s (36 hours per week), Days

• Department: Operating Room - Cardiothoracic Service Line

• Location: Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center

What You'll Need:

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

• Preferred: Certification in specialty area

How You'll Impact Patient Care:

Embrace this pivotal role in patient care as you work alongside the Registered Nurse. You'll support direct patient care, prepare the Operating Room pre- and post-surgery, arrange sterile instruments, and maintain aseptic techniques. Key responsibilities of a Surgical Technologist include, but are not limited to:

Ensure top-notch patient care, safety, and advocacy by anticipating and addressing case-specific needs with sharp critical thinking under RN supervision.

Uphold excellence by impeccably managing instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
