Job Description
Where You Will Work:
Our Parkridge Infusion Center has 15 Infusion bays having a department breakdown of infusion, oncology and non-oncology research and care. The culture is dynamic and has a variety of acuity, injections and chemo. Outpatient CAR-T (Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-Cells) Therapy treatment. Cancer Center Infusion - IV Therapy administration of chemotherapy/biotherapy, blood products, and injections. Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certified preferred.
Proficient in accessing and management of central and peripheral lines, ability to monitor and manage infusion related reactions.
We’re Looking For:
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Teamwork, having an emphasis on patients receiving high quality care. Communication, hard-working, multi-tasking, engagement. Collaboration
- Chemo certification is preferred at time of hire but required to obtain within 8 weeks of hire.
- ONS chemo/immunotherapy training to be completed within 8 weeks of hire.

- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
