Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room

Where You Will Work:
- Operating Room
- Open Heart Team
- Full Time - 40 Hours a Week
- Schedule: Day shift, M-F, 0700-1530
- Previous OR experience required
2 years minimum. Open Heart RN
- Holiday work/call rotation
- 30-minute response time Required
- 4-5 Call Shifts a month
- Level 1 Trauma Center
- 12 Operating Rooms, including specially equipped suites for cardiovascular and neurosurgery procedures.
- Surgical capabilities include Cosmetic, generally, gastro, gynecological, neuro, open heart, ophthalmology, ortho, otolaryngology, plastic, thoracic/vascular, urology, and weight loss.
We’re Looking For:
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Preference given to RNs with Surgical Services experience
What You’ll Do:
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
