Registered Nurse Navigator- Atrium Outpatient Orthopedic Surgery Charlotte FT

Where You Will Work:

Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is looking for a Nurse Navigator to support our total joints program.   The Nurse Navigator will be responsible for optimizing surgical patients as they prepare for total joints surgery.  This position will work closely with our two total joint surgeons and their clinical support teams.

We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team full-time. Ideal nursing candidates demonstrate a strong commitment to service excellence, nursing excellence, and adaptability.

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

• Current BLS certification

• 3 year of nursing experience preferred

• BSN Required

• Prior Orthopedic experience preferred

• Prior nurse navigation experience or clinical supervisor experience is a plus.

• Certification in the appropriate specialized field within 2 years of being in the position required

Position Details:

• Monday – Friday 8:00a – 5:00p

· As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

· Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
