What You'll Do:
Develop the strategy for the formation of sustaining collaborations with domestic industries including startups, academics, non-profit, government and scientific leaders to advance the mission and vision of the Institute.
Develop novel deal structures, grants, and other funding opportunities that support the sustainability and/or growth of the Institute.
Source, screen, make recommendations for enabling partnerships and/or internal capability building to meet the Institute’s mission and vision.
Develop, target, execute and operationalize strategic programs, projects and opportunities.
Utilize metrics and root cause analysis to enhance effectiveness and continued improvement of the Institute’s strategy, programs, and projects.
Engage with external partners to establish and shape the future through the Institute’s strong scientific capabilities.
Partner with other staff to seamlessly integrate new collaborations and capabilities.
Raise issues, escalate concerns and propose solutions as appropriate to all the success and sustainability.
Active member and participant of the leadership team collaborating with other members to ensure regulatory and translational strategies are aligned with WIFRM objectives.
Education Required:
PhD in a scientific discipline
Experience Required:
Ten years of progressive management experience with academia, business development, finances, strategic planning, and government relations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
