We are seeking a dedicated and professional Patient Phone Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for patients via telephone. Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and active, listening skills and compassion.
- Assist patients with appointment scheduling, and rescheduling if necessary, accurately using computer systems and data entry tools.
- Collect and verify patient information, ensuring accuracy in data entry and record keeping within electronic health record systems.
- Collaborate with medical staff to relay patient concerns or urgent issues promptly and accurately.
Demonstrate professionalism and empathy in all interactions to foster trust and positive relationships with patients.
- .Qualifications
- Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and basic office software.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations
- Knowledge of phone etiquette standards and effective communication techniques.
- Analysis skills to assess patient needs quickly and provide appropriate assistance or escalate issues as necessary.
Ability to handle high volume calls.
