Advanced Practice Nurse Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to determine their healthcare needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with families and healthcare teams.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide education and counseling on family planning, infectious disease prevention, and overall health maintenance.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions, including emergency situations as they arise.
- Perform airway management and other critical interventions when necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with ICD-10 coding standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements
Advanced Practice Nurse Qualifications
- Board Certified Advanced Practice Nurse licensure required
- Graduate degree from an accredited nursing program, such as a Master of Science in nursing
- Strong knowledge of pediatric care principles and practices.
- Experience in emergency medicine or acute care settings is preferred.
- Proficient in medication administration and sterile processing techniques.
