Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our endocrinology team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients with endocrine disorders, collaborate with physicians and clinical staff, and help improve patient outcomes through education and ongoing management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, obesity, adrenal disorders and other endocrine disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests and diagnostic studies.
- Prescribe medications and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients on disease management, medications, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor patients using insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices.
- Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient education programs.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Jersey.
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Advanced Nursing Practitioner(ANP).
- DEA license and prescriptive authority.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience preferred; endocrinology experience is highly desirable.
- Experience managing diabetes, insulin pumps, and CGM devices is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
