This position is responsible for developing client relationships, generating mortgage loan business, and guiding borrowers through the home financing process. Key Responsibilities- Generate mortgage business through self-sourcing, networking, and referral partnerships.
- Consult with borrowers to assess financing needs and recommend appropriate loan programs.
- Collect and review loan applications and supporting financial documentation.
- Guide borrowers through the mortgage process from application to closing.
- Coordinate with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to keep loans moving forward.
- Maintain compliance with applicable lending regulations and company policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other referral partners.
- Active NMLS license and applicable state licensing requirements.
- Previous mortgage lending or sales experience preferred.
- Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of mortgage products, loan guidelines, and the loan origination process.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
