Partner Liaison
Advisors Equity Group Location: Hybrid / Dallas, TX – Employment Type: Full-Time
About Advisors Equity Group
Advisors Equity Group (AEG) is an innovative, equity-owned think tank collaborative composed of independent financial services professionals and centers of influence from around the world. Our global network includes accounting firms, law firms, wealth management specialists, high-end insurance professionals, multi-family and single-family offices, specialty and property insurance companies, hedge funds, private equity funds, and experts in the sports and entertainment world.
We come together to engineer the best possible outcomes for complex capital transactions and sophisticated financial challenges faced by high-net-worth individuals, families, corporations, and institutions. Through collaboration, we deliver tax-efficient, capital-efficient, and risk-mitigation solutions that no single firm could achieve alone.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Partner Liaison to serve as the central connector within our exclusive network of independent partners. This role is critical to maximizing the value of our collaborative model by ensuring partners are aware of each other’s expertise, facilitating introductions, and driving cross-collaboration on client opportunities.
Because our partners are busy professionals who interact in person only a few times per year, the Partner Liaison will proactively build deep relationships with each partner, understand their specializations, and act as the “matchmaker” who identifies and facilitates opportunities for joint work on complex client needs. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a solid baseline understanding of high-end finance, and the ability to thrive in a relationship-driven, non-hierarchical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and Maintain Partner Relationships Develop in-depth knowledge of each partner’s expertise, services, client base, and preferred collaboration style through regular outreach, calls, meetings, and occasional in-person events.
- Facilitate Collaboration & Introductions Proactively identify opportunities where one partner’s client has a need or opportunity that another partner is uniquely positioned to address. Make warm, well-prepared introductions and follow up to ensure successful engagement.
- Educate and Remind the Network Regularly communicate partner capabilities across the network (e.g., via newsletters, calls, or virtual roundtables) to keep everyone informed about available resources and encourage referrals.
- Client Opportunity Coordination Serve as the first point of contact when a partner identifies a complex client issue. Gather relevant details, match the need to appropriate partners, coordinate initial discussions, and track progress.
- Network Growth & Onboarding Assist in onboarding new partners, ensuring they understand the collaborative model and are quickly integrated into the network.
- Tracking & Reporting Maintain an up-to-date CRM/database of partner profiles, expertise, and past collaborations. Provide periodic reports on network activity, successful collaborations, and opportunities.
- Event & Relationship Support Help plan and execute partner meetings, retreats, and virtual gatherings to strengthen relationships and spark new collaborations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience 3 years in a relationship management, business development, account management, or liaison role, preferably within financial services, wealth management, professional services, or a network-based organization.
- Knowledge Solid baseline understanding of high-end finance, including wealth management, tax planning, estate/legacy planning, insurance, private equity, hedge funds, and capital transactions. You do not need to be a specialist, but you should be comfortable discussing complex financial topics and translating them for non-experts.
- Skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong listening, empathy, and relationship-building abilities
- Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
- Ability to work independently in a distributed, entrepreneurial environment
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
- Comfortable with virtual communication tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
- Attributes
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Discreet and trustworthy (handling confidential client and partner information)
- Collaborative mindset with a genuine interest in helping others succeed
- High energy and persistence in a busy, high-caliber professional network
What We Offer
- Opportunity to work at the intersection of elite financial expertise and collaborative innovation
- Competitive compensation package (base performance bonus)
- Flexible/remote-friendly work environment
- Exposure to a global network of top-tier financial professionals
- Professional development and learning opportunities in sophisticated finance
