The Position
The Client Service Associate is responsible for growing key client relationshipswhile supporting the Financial Professionals’ annual goals and objectives. The Associate manages the day-to-day operations of the practice and works closely with all members of the team providing a wide variety of operational, technical, and client-facing support. In joining this experienced financial planning practice, your contributions will help ensure that the practice is running smoothly, clients receive a high level of service and a positive experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm and professional high-touch service by communicating with our clients via phone, email and written correspondence
- Facilitate the onboarding of new clients
- Initiate, process and monitor all new accounts [ex. Investments, Insurance]
- Process and monitor all asset transfers and funding into new accounts
- Prepare and process client service requests including account maintenance requests, money movement (check requests, withdrawals, transfers, etc.) and account inquiries
- Document client information and notes in our CRM system (we use Redtail) and maintain client files in paperless document storage system
- Analyze systematic withdrawals to ensure cash flow for clients
- Process address changes with the broker dealer and direct sponsor companies
· Respond to communications/emails/correspondence on the Financial Professional’s behalf
· Help ensure compliance by maintaining proper client files and following all procedures.
· Assure the use of technology for the Financial Professional(s) practice is optimized
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (preferably in business or finance) is desired
· Minimum three years’ prior administrative experience is required. Prior experience supporting a financial professional would be ideal
· Strong technology acumen, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel), and experience with CRM systems
· Candidate must have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication with prior professional experience in client services
· Must pass a background and credit check
