Who we are looking for:
We’re seeking a driven, detail oriented professional who thrives in a fast moving environment and enjoys taking ownership of responsibilities from day one. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable supporting advisors and clients directly and creating operational workflows behind the scenes.
You’ll play a central role in our operations team by supporting our Financial Advisors, improving workflows, and helping clients experience seamless service. The role reports directly to the Head of Operations. Preference will be given to candidates based in the Charleston region, though we will consider remote candidates who meet or exceed our requirements.
We offer a competitive salary, and the position will be a blend of in-person and remote work depending on the candidate’s location.
At least 2 years of experience in financial planning or wealth management operations is required.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of administrative and operational support for the Financial Advisor team, proactively identifying and implementing process improvements
- Accurately manage investment account openings, fund transfers (rollovers, ACATs), and all related forms and processes and issues related to our custodian, Altruist
- Provide responsive, thoughtful client support that reflects AWM’s six-star service standard
- Maintain accurate and organized client data across systems such as HubSpot, RightCapital, Altruist, and Zocks
- Handle client requests and escalations independently, using sound judgment to resolve issues efficiently
- Contribute to operations strategy by documenting workflows, streamlining repeatable processes, and collaborating with Advisors to improve efficiency
- Participate in weekly team meetings, sharing insights and ideas to enhance the client experience and optimize operations
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Client satisfaction (CES survey feedback)
- Responsiveness to client and advisor inquiries
- Accuracy in data management and account execution
- Contribution to process improvements (documented and implemented)
Requirements
- Series 65 or 66 certification or equivalent preferred, but not required
- At least 2 years of experience in financial planning or wealth management operations providing direct support to clients and advisors.
- Experience with investment account openings, fund transfers (rollovers, ACATs), and related forms and processes.
- Strong working knowledge of CRM systems such as HubSpot, Wealthbox, or Salesforce
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced setting
- A mindset of continuous improvement. You don’t just follow a process, you create it and continue to refine it.
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
