Responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans developed by the licensed Physical Therapist
- Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities with clients, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and coordination
- Provide guidance and education to clients and their families on proper techniques for exercises, transfers, and ambulation
- Assess and document clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers, providing support and answering questions
- Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Michigan
- CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules
