The Personal Care Attendant is reliable and confident in taking full personal care of client in a facility or their own residence. Duties may include mobility support, assisting with maintaining personal hygiene by bathing, brushing their hair and teeth, or applying skincare. Are a vital piece of great in-home care and serve a double duty as emotional and physical support for both clients and their families.

Qualifications
- Must be qualified in one of the following programs: Certified Nurse’s Aide Program or Home Health Aide Program or must have completed a 54-hour training program as a PCA provider
- Completion of the facility’s Alzheimer Training Course
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work for extended period while standing and being involved in physical activity
- Ability to do extensive bending, lifting, and standing on a regular basis
- Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly
- Ability to carry out directions, read and write
- Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
