Receptionist

Full-time | AdviniaCare Vinnin Square | Salem, MA

Come join the talented staff at AdviniaCare Vinnin Square! We’re looking for a friendly, professional Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our community. Prior senior living experience is preferred but not required.

About The Role

As the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm, safe, and well-organized environment. You’ll manage the front desk, handle incoming calls, and support our team with general administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Answer, screen, and forward calls on the telephone switchboard, providing information and taking messages
• Greet all visitors entering the facility and direct or escort them to their destination
• Assist residents, family members, employees, and visitors as needed
• Maintain building security by following procedures and controlling access, including monitoring the visitor logbook and surveillance footage
• Perform general administrative tasks such as word processing and data entry
• Maintain the general filing system and file correspondence appropriately
• Receive and sort daily mail, deliveries, and couriers
• Report any resident issues or concerns to the Administrator
• Other duties as assigned
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Long-term care experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
• Warm, professional demeanor in person and on the phone
• Comfortable with computers and basic data entry
  
  
  

Physical Demands

• Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday
• May be required to assist with resident evacuation during emergencies
