Responsibilities:
- Manage the psychosocial, mental, and emotional needs of residents residing in a skilled nursing center
- Develop and/or aid in the access of services for residents
- Provide services in accordance with the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics and government regulations
- Work effectively with a variety of disciplines in an individual and team setting
- Possess a working understanding of social systems and ability to implement pertinent state and federal regulations
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Licensed and registered in the state of Florida
- Strong communication, assessment, and social work methods and techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
