POSITION DESCRIPTION: Too facilitate in the manufacture of quality friction brake products by maintaining the building
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Building Maintenance
- Repair/Improvement of process equipment
- Repair/Improvement of production equipment
- Maintain shop area and apply 5S
- Document all activities for management review
- Complete special projects assigned
- Continuous check of fire protection valve
- Dust Collector and Fume duct cleaning
- Perform all Dust Collector cleaning and maintenance
- Safety
- Safety checks on all facilities and equipment necessary to maintain a safe working environment
- Maintain safety items assigned
- Follow current lock out/tag out procedures
- Follow current safety rules
- General
- Perform any fabrication tasks assigned
- Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Follow all safety guidelines with special emphasis on correct lifting procedures
- Strict adherence to 5S concept
- Notify supervisor should problems with dies occur.
- Follow work order system
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 3 years of experience with building maintenance. Experience in welding a plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work environment involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions (e.g., working around moving machines in production facilities) and protective clothing or gear such as safety glasses, gloves and safety shoes is required.
