Senior Finance Manager / Controller – High-Growth CPG (HYBRID)
Ready to take the lead finance role at a fast-scaling, design-forward consumer company. This is a standout opportunity to own the accounting function, partner directly with executive leadership, and influence the financial backbone of a rapidly expanding brand.
This role will support both financial operations and strategic analysis. This person will own reporting, help streamline the month-end closing, and build models to evaluate key business performance metrics. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and excited to work cross-functionally.
Responsibilities:
- Run the whole accounting operation: GL, AP/AR, inventory, and financial controls
- Drive accurate, timely GAAP reporting and oversee the monthly close
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with senior leadership
- Manage cash flow, banking activities, and financial compliance
- Coordinate annual audits and tax requirements
- Implement process improvements across finance
- Manage & develop a small, high-performing team (2 direct reports)
- Manage budget planning and forecasting processes by analyzing operating costs and sales
- Interpret and review financial results and develop economic models to identify strategic alternatives and contingency plans.
- Participate in preparing monthly and quarterly performance reviews, annual budgets and strategic initiatives.
- Support the month-end close process by performing in-depth analysis of the balance sheet and accruals to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain daily, monthly, and annual business metrics
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field
- 8-15years of FP&A /accounting experience within the CPG or retail industry preferred
- Strong understanding of retail operations
- Advanced experience with MS Excel as it relates to logic formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros and formatting.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment
- Be able to multitask and be a team player
Salary: $140k-$165k Bonus
