Employment Services Summary
To assist in placing customers in a competitive work environment, assess accommodation needs, and then provide training/support directly related to the job. Additionally, will be responsible for assisting in the identification of employment goals, resume creation, completing job applications, interviewing skills, job search and job retention strategies, coaching and redirection to ensure goals are met.

Duties & Responsibilities
· Observe the customer to identify and solve potential problems related to the customers employment success before the problem becomes an issue for the customer, employer, or coworkers
· Explore the customers interest, capabilities, preferences, and ongoing support needs
· Observe the customers work skills and behavior at home and in the community or potential work environment
· Assess the customers learning stile and needs for adaptive technology, accommodations, and on-site support
· Monitor and reduce the time spent with customer at the job site, as the customer becomes better adjusted and more independent
· Maintain current and accurate case files, program records/reports ensuring confidentiality, and timeliness
Education & Experience:
· Mobile with own transportation to be able to travel to various agency locations
· Possession of a current University of North Texas |(UNT) Workplace Inclusion and Sustainable Employment (WISE) Texas Supported Employment Specialist Credential
· A high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of documented experience in a professional or personal setting routinely working with people with disabilities
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
