What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Writing Camp Counselor position at Adventures in Writing?
Adventures in Writing is looking for a passionate and experienced Camp Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children ages 6-14.
The Camp Counselor will be responsible for providing daily supervision to students in our day camp and summer camp programs. The individual must have an understanding of how to ensure the safety of students in a camp setting, as well as the ability to work with various staff and departments of Adventures in Writing.

- Must be able to pass a background check
Responsibilities:
- Provide positive guidance, support, and discipline according to program policies, procedures, and state regulations.
- Work with teachers and supervisors in coordination with all necessary personnel.
- Attend all required staff meetings.
- Camp runs July 22-August 2nd
- We have other sessions earlier in various East Bay locations.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $17.50 per hour
