Duties
- Provide attentive care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in areas such as social skills, language, and motor skills.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for children to play and learn.
- Monitor children's behavior and implement effective behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, activities, and any concerns that may arise.
- Assist children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and naptime.
- Foster an inclusive environment by working effectively with children with disabilities or special needs.
- Collaborate with other caregivers or educators to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or as a nanny is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Strong skills in teaching basic concepts through play and structured activities.
- Experience with behavior management techniques tailored to various age groups.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children and their families.
- A nurturing demeanor combined with the ability to set clear boundaries for children's behavior.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
