What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Manager position at Adventure Suites?
Pay based on experience.
Responsibilities:
-House Keeper Management
-Holding daily morning meetings with housekeepers to prepare and go over the day and tasks that need to be preformed each day.
-Inspecting rooms
-Help with cleaning the rooms when needed
-Treating and Inspecting Hot Tubs and Jacuzzis
-Inventory of linens
-Inventory of supplies done weekly
- Perform commercial cleaning duties in hotel rooms, common areas, and other designated areas.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and floors.
- Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Vacuum carpets and mop floors.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and towels.
- Launder linens, towels, and other hotel items as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the housekeeping manager.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and techniques.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, and floor buffers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
