What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher position at Adventure Planet Child Care Center?
We are seeking an assistant teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children.
Responsibilities:
- Work with a Lead Teacher assisting our children doing activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
- Create a nurturing and safe environment
- Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with co-workers students and parents
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Reliability and punctuality
Education Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience in a child care center setting. Knowledge of ECE practices and techniques. Ability to communicate with children, parents & staff.
Current First Aid & CPR, Fingerprint & KBI clearance will be required, Current Health Assessment & TB test.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.50 - $13.00 per hour
