Role and Responsibilities:
The following list contains the core roles and responsibilities for a Snow Removal Technician
- Provide snow removal services per any contract specifications
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment including but not limited to trucks, ATVs/UTVs, skid steer, dump trailer, vehicle mounted snowplows and snow blowers.
- Follow all CSR SOG’s as they pertain to job parameters and vehicle/equipment use
- Liaise with the public and business partners in a courteous and professional manner
- Complete any company documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform basic maintenance on snow removal equipment and vehicles
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order and notify manager immediately if found damaged
- Perform other work-related duties as directed by manager and team lead, or as the situation requires
- Normal shifts start early in the morning, e.g. 0400, and can last 3-8 hours as needed depending on snow conditions
- Occasional weekend and after hour work is possible
Minimal Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License with no restrictions
- Comfortable working in cold, snowy conditions
- Vehicle installed snowplow experience
- UTV/ATV Operator certification
