What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Childcare Assistant Teacher position at Adventure Center Child Care?
Our child care facility is looking for caring, compassionate teachers who have experience and or training with caring for children ages birth - 5 years. Our mission is to support families by providing quality childcare and early childhood programs for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Our goal is to enhance the lives of every child that attends our facility. Great Start to Quality designates Adventure Center as a Demonstrating Quality center and Adventure Center has a long history of providing top notch programs for children. Staff often refer to us as their second family. They are supportive of each other personally and professionally. Assistant teachers assist the lead and associate teachers with all aspects of care and activities for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Adventure Center participates in the T.E.A.C.H program for students in early childhood/child development programs.
The successful candidate must be available to work until 6 PM.
Experience and/or training with children 5 and younger is preferable and hourly rate will reflect experience and training.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.10 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
