Job Summary:
Schedules patients and performs other functions, while providing quality customer service.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Schedules patients and responds to patient/therapist requests. Maintains patient schedules and obtains pertinent information, while verifying accuracy, recording in appropriate scheduling screens, confirming appointments and following authorization procedures. Follows up on cancellations and no-shows.
- Provides quality customer service. Provides professional customer service in challenging situations.
- Maintains and organizes information systematically for easy retrieval.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
