Job Summary: Maintain a clean and aesthetically pleasing environment at our hospital by performing various cleaning tasks. This includes daily and discharge cleaning of patient rooms.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hospital-wide trash pick-up and transport to the disposal area.
- Routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, departments, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
- Clean upholstered furniture and draperies, dust furniture, wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, blinds, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Sweep, dust, and damp mop hard floors, sweep or vacuum carpeted floors, defrost and clean refrigerator/freezer units.
- Supply soap, lotions, towels, gloves, and washcloth dispensers with supplies on a regular basis.
- Distribute, collect, and process linens, and exchange sharps containers as needed.
