We're looking for someone to join our team as a Leave and Disability Advisor who:
Provides the highest quality of customer service and serves as the main contact and subject matter expert regarding pay and other Human Performance benefit operation questions, for leaves of absence and accommodations for assigned locations. Establishes and maintains rapport with associates to ensure customer service goals are met. Participates in daily phone que hours (8 hours daily) as well as make outbound calls to associates. Answers and triages all telephone/email communication from employees within 24 hours, and update leave/claim files note in the system as appropriate.
Essential Functions:
- Calculates, processes and tracks bi-weekly payroll for associates for multiple types of federal, statutory and employer sponsored leaves of absence (ie FMLA, CFRA, PDL, PLOA). Also tracks unpaid LOA's. Updates associates leave status in Oracle (primary associate record keeping system) and initiates SAFe tickets with AH IT partners to sever or connect associate system access.
- Researches and resolves pay issues, questions and escalated inquiries, and partners with third party leave administrator (TPA) regarding associate's leave status to ensure pay is accurate, and timely, and statuses are updated accordingly. Advises associates and managers regarding leave of absence and accommodation programs, and how to utilize resources from TPA.
- Interprets leave and accommodation policies to facilitate pay administration, respond to questions, and interface with the TPA, associates and HP professionals to solve complex problems. Provides pay statements to associates on extended leaves of absence. Partners with 3rd party entities such as government entities or 3rd party insurance carriers to complete documentation.
- Interfaces with internal HP operations teams to confirm benefit eligibility, transitions to EBC (Employee Benefit Continuation) regarding payment of premiums while on leave. Interfaces with the TPA for return to work program and light duty job offers.
- Coordinates with Manager, HP and IT teams to update HRIS status for employees initiating and closing leave. Stays current on changing Federal and State regulations and legislation that may affect employee pay while on leave.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education:
- Associate's / Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
Work Experience:
- Five years related experience: Preferred

The estimated base pay for this position is $29.01 to $43.49. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through years of experience, differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
