- Perform and document accurate initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate patient conditions and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to address identified patient needs and goals.
- Administer medications accurately and appropriately as ordered, monitoring patient responses and adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Supervise and guide nursing personnel in delivering safe, therapeutic, and quality patient care, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
* Provide patient and family education about the care plan, medications, procedures, and other relevant information to ensure understanding and compliance. * Assist physicians with bedside procedures and prepare patients for tests, procedures, and surgeries.
Education:
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Work Experience:
- 1 years acute care hospital experience [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) [Preferred]
- Pediatric ER Assess, Recog & Stabilization (PEARS) [Preferred]
- Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) [Preferred]
- Certified EKG Technician (CET) [Preferred]
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) [Preferred]
