Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Medical Lab Scientist role located in Davenport, FL. The Medical Lab Scientist will perform accurate laboratory testing to support the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Responsibilities include analyzing biological samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols, and collaborating with clinical teams. The role also involves documenting and verifying test results, calibrating instruments, and contributing to the development and implementation of laboratory procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Technology and Laboratory Skills tailored to support clinical operations and patient care
• Experience in Laboratory Medicine and Pathology for accurate sample testing and analysis
• Knowledge of Quality Control measures to maintain compliance with safety and accuracy standards
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under time-sensitive conditions
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
• Current and valid Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or equivalent certification
• Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations and best practices
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
